- Quotes: Each job is individually priced, or per van load (£450).
- Payment: Due on completion. We accept bank transfer, card, or cash.
- Paperwork: Upon completion, you’ll receive an official VAT invoice and a digital waste transfer note for complete peace of mind.
- Cancellations: Less than 48 hours’ notice incurs a 20% fee. No-shows: £48 callout charge.
- Restrictions: No hazardous or prohibited items (e.g., asbestos, medical waste, explosives).
- Your responsibilities: Provide safe access and prepare waste as per our guidelines.
- Insurance: We are fully insured (£2m public liability, £10m employer liability).

1. Introduction
Welcome to Tidy Up Ltd, the trusted choice for efficient waste removal solutions. As we strive to maintain a cleaner environment and offer streamlined services tailored to your needs, we deem it necessary to establish a clear framework that ensures mutual understanding and trust. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) have been put in place to delineate the obligations, rights, and expectations for both Tidy Up Ltd and our clients. By deciding to use Tidy Up Ltd, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read carefully for a smooth, agreeable waste removal experience.
2. Services
Tidy Up Ltd offers a comprehensive range of waste management solutions:
- Waste Removal: Efficient handling and disposal of various waste types, minimising environmental impact and complying with all regulations.
- Commercial Clearances: Clearances for shops, barns, offices, venues, restaurants, storage areas, catering, and all business sectors.
- House Clearances: Complete removal of unwanted items and waste for sale, rental, or renovation.
- Household Waste: Domestic rubbish and bulk waste responsibly removed, prioritising sustainability.
- Commercial Waste: Eco-friendly clearances for businesses moving, renovating, or decluttering.

3. Booking & Scheduling
Book by phone (01244 646 326), email (Kamen@tidyupltd.com), WhatsApp, Facebook/Instagram, or via our online enquiry form.
After we receive your booking, we’ll confirm details and pricing, then arrange a convenient pickup date. If a scheduled pickup is missed (and you provided evidence), we will do our best to collect within 48 hours.
4. Pricing Structure
- Each job is individually priced. Full van load: £250 + VAT (£300). Our drivers determine safe fill level.
Accepted Payment Methods:
- Card: Visa, MasterCard (payable on completion)
- Bank Transfer: Details provided on request (please reference invoice/address)
- Cash: Accepted at the time of pickup
Payment Due Dates:
- On-the-spot payments due at pickup (cash/card).
- Account clients: Invoices due within 7 days. Extended invoicing may require 50% upfront.
Late Payments:
- Overdue invoices: 8% late fee per week after 14 days overdue. Unpaid invoices may go to collections.
Upon completion, you’ll receive an official VAT invoice and a digital waste transfer note for complete peace of mind.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- Notify us at least 48 hours in advance to change or cancel.
- Cancellations within 48 hours: 20% fee.
- Rescheduling within 48 hours: subject to availability, may incur 10% fee.
- No-shows: £48 callout fee.

6. Client Responsibilities
- Accessibility: Ensure clear access for collection (unlocked gates, clear paths, access codes).
- Waste Preparation: Bag or bundle waste as per guidelines; label hazardous items properly.
- Hazard Notification: Inform us of pets, construction, or unsafe conditions.
- Restrictions: No overloading; prohibited items may be refused or charged extra.
- Timeliness: Waste must be ready at the agreed time.
- Communication: Notify us of changes or special requests promptly.
7. Prohibited Items
We do not accept:
- Asbestos (or anything containing asbestos)
- Explosives (fireworks, ammunition, dynamite, etc.)
- Nuclear or radioactive materials
- Medical waste (needles, syringes, biohazardous materials, medications)

8. Liability and Insurance
- Limitation of liability: Limited to the cost of service or actual loss, whichever is less.
- No indirect or consequential damages.
- Client duty: Notify us of risks/hazards on site. Failure may affect liability.
- Insurance: Public liability £2,000,000 / Employers’ liability £10,000,000
- Claims: Must be made in writing within 14 days of incident.
9. Termination
- By Client: 30 days’ written notice. Early termination fees may apply.
- By Tidy Up Ltd: For non-payment (over 7 days), breach of contract, or safety risks.
- Outstanding payments due immediately upon termination. Our access to recover containers/equipment must be allowed.
- Payment, liability, and legal clauses survive termination.
10. Privacy Policy
- Information collected: Name, address, contact info, booking details, website usage data.
- Usage: To fulfil bookings, communicate, send updates/offers, improve services, analyse trends. No data sold or rented to third parties.
- Storage: Secure, limited access, retained as long as required by law.
- Your rights: Access, correct, or delete info at any time; opt-out of marketing by request.
- Policy changes: Significant changes will be communicated directly; continued use equals acceptance.

11. Complaints and Disputes
- Filing: Call 01244 646 326 with details (date, issue, photos/docs).
- Response: Initial response within 48 hours; we aim for resolution within 14 working days.
- Dispute resolution: If unresolved, both parties will engage in negotiation, then mediation if needed. Legal action is last resort.
- Jurisdiction: Governed by UK law (see section 13).
12. Changes to Terms
- We may update Terms at any time. Significant changes will be notified directly or on our website.
- Continued use equals acceptance; if you disagree, you may terminate as per section 9.
- Archived versions available on request.
13. Governing Law
- This agreement is governed by UK law.
- Legal proceedings based on region of service (England & Wales, Scotland, or Northern Ireland).
- Both parties agree to exclusive jurisdiction of relevant courts.
